Our Baby Finally Has A Name!

After many months of Kyle and I going back and forth on a name for our baby girl, we have finally reached an agreement. Or, in his terms, him always letting me have my way! Her name will be Hannah Claire! I am going to the doctor every week, and we are anxiously awaiting our little angels appearance. Please pray for a healthy baby girl! I took just a few pictures of the nursery and Hallie's room. Both rooms are almost complete! We still need to get the curtains monogrammed and Elizabeth has a little more painting and everything will be complete! Hallie's room is the butterflies and Hannah's is the flowers. Hope you enjoy!

First Day of Dance Class

Today was Hallie's first day of dance class. She has thanked us all afternoon for taking her, and she keeps saying "Mommy, I loved it so much!" I think she loved it so much because she got to dress up and her teacher called her Princess Hallie. She didn't know anyone in her class when we got there, but by the time the hour was up she had met several new friends. Kyle and I topped off her special night by taking her to Fazolis (her favorite resturant). We are trying to get as many special things in with her as we can before the baby gets here. I know she is going to go through a little bit of culture shock when she has to share her mommy and daddy time with someone else. Even though, she keeps telling me that she is tired of waiting for her sissy to come out of my belly. Elizabeth Rhodes came over today to paint Hallie's room, the nursery, and the girls' bathrooms. I don't have any pictures to post because she didn't get finished, but hopefully by the weekend I can post some pictures. She didn't get started on the nursery, so we have an extra 24 hours to debate on the baby's name! Thanks to Aunt Stephanie for coming over today and picking Hallie up to go have a playdate with her cousins and new friend, Parker. She has talked and talked about those Rats/Rabbits that Uncle Adam decided to share.

My Precious Mom has Retired and My Wonderful Husband's First Official Day as Principal

Two special people in my life just reached important milestones! First I will discuss my "wonderful" mother. After working for 29 years teaching Head Start and managing the Brownsville Child Care and Learning Center, my mom, "Ms. JoAnna," has decided to change gears. For all those years, mom has completely dedicated her life to serving children and families in Edmonson County. She has always loved taking care of children and being a part of their early childhood education. Her hard work and dedication has always been an inspiration to me, and I can't imagine how I would make it through life without her. She has always demonstrated good morals, and to me you can't ask for a better person. Now, she hopes to spend more time with our family and friends, and do special things that she enjoys. She has always taken such good care of our family, and I am so glad that she is finally able to slow down and enjoy life a little more. Congratulations Mom on a job well done!
On the other hand, while mom is slowing down, my wonderful husband is starting off his 30s with some new and extra responsibility. Kyle was recently named Edmonson County Middle School Principal. We are all so proud of him and know with confidence and guidance from God he will do a wonderful job. He has a big responsibility taking care of 330 children and families, but Hallie says her daddy is Super and he can handle it. Congratulations to our special guy!
I truly thank God for all of his blessings and my wonderful family!

Finally a Blog Post!

Well, with the help of my good friend Whitney W. and the assistance of Jessica M. and Carol S. on the phone, I finally have a blog! Yea! Everyone has been telling me how addicting it is, and I totally agree. I have been stalking several of my good friends' pages for a few weeks now, and I just couldn't stand it any longer. Now, I can officially be part of the blogging club! I love looking at everyone's beautiful families and find that everyday I need to check in and see if there is any updates. Jonathan, Whitney, and Cariann came over for dinner tonight, and Whitney and I decided it was time to get my page started. As you can see, the girls had a lot of fun and decided that they would climb into bed together and call it a night. Hallie loved playing with Cariann, but she had a hard time understanding why she couldn't do the things she could. She is anxiously awaiting her new sister, and I know she will be a big help to mommy. We had so much fun and we truly enjoyed the William's family company!
