Our good friends, The Parsley's, invited us to join them today for a few hours at the lake. We had a wonderful time soaking up the sun, tube riding, swimming, and just enjoying each others stories and laughs. Our girls love each other so much and always enjoy spending time together. Kyle made a trip to Red Roof BBQ and got us lunch to enjoy on the boat. As always, it was delicious....most of all those apple dumplings! We have been in a wonderful revival all week at Bee Spring, and today was nice to relax and spend some quality time with friends. Thanks to all my great friends who have helped take care of my kiddos this week so we could attend church. It has been much easier on Hannah getting in bed at her normal time. I can't believe that my sweet Hannah Claire is already 9 months old today! It seems like it was just yesterday that I was holding her in my arms for the first time and realizing that I had found true love all over again. Now, she is saying mama and dada, pulling up, holding her bottle (sometimes), experiencing object permanence (don't you dare take anything away from her), waving "bye-bye", smiling all the time, and loves to play "Patty Cake." We still don't have any teeth completely through, but four are slowly but surely working their way through. Her daddy says she is such a momma's girl, and I have to agree. Just a little spoiled, but who wouldn't spoil a precious baby just a little?! God gave them to us to love, and I am savoring every minute I can. She really is a great baby! Very Happy Go Lucky....goes to bed and sleeps all night, awaking in the morning with a smile and most of the time I will hear the word "mama." It just melts my heart! I can't believe that we will soon be planning her 1st Birthday Party! Here is some photos I took before venturing out to dinner tonight. Hope you enjoy!

Happy "5th" Birthday My Sweet Hallie!

Okay, please tell me that all of these emotions that I am having today about my baby girl turning "5" tomorrow is normal. I have had a hard time facing this all afternoon! It seems like the little baby girl that used to rely on her mommy so much for everything is becoming so independent. From showering herself to drying her own hair, to being so excited about starting kindergarten, she is just like a flower waiting to bloom. I just keep wanting to turn back time and make her that precious gift from God that changed my life forever on June 16th, 2004, at 5:37 pm. Weighing 9lbs and 11 ounces and 21.5 inches long, this little wonder that had been growing inside of me for 9 months completely changed my life forever. I have looked backed over the pictures of her birth all the way up until this year, and it is amazing how she has grown into a precious little girl. I enjoy every day that I have with her, because she always brings a smile to my face and I realize how blessed I am to be her mommy. She is a wonderful big sister, and Hannah lights up every time she sees her. We celebrated her birthday last Saturday with a Hannah Montana concert performed by Lainey Meredith. Hallie had the time of her life, and enjoyed sharing this special event with many of her friends. Happy Birthday to My Precious Girl! Your Mommy Loves You More Than You Will Ever Know!

Summer Vacation..... Disney World 2009

We had a blast at Disney World! Not to mention the 90 degree heat on 2 days, weathering that with a 4 yr. old and a 8 month old, and many stops for drinks with Hallie stating she needs to take a break. She rode everything she was tall enough to, and many things twice. Hannah was a wonderful baby, and she just took everything in stride. She and mommy stayed in the cool as much as possible, while Hallie and daddy made sure they visited everything possible. Hallie and Daddy also did a water park, while Hannah and I got in some great shopping at the outlet malls. We really enjoyed spending time with our great friends, The Parsley's, and made many wonderful memories. After arriving back in Nashville, the pilot of our plane let Hallie take a tour of the cockpit and that was a perfect way to end the vacation. Hope you enjoy the photos! Now I need another vacation to recouperate! I wish a little fairy would come and visit me and put away all of my laundry away.
