Hannah and Hallie before bed tonight.. Most of the time Hallie loves her to death!

Wow, long time no post! A lot has been going on in the last couple of weeks and it just seems like I have been busier than ever. I am back at work now, and after being off for 14 weeks, it sure has took some getting used to. The first couple of days there were definitely a lot of tears shed, but after that I just realized I had to suck it up and get on with the program. My work schedule is great, and I do get to be home with the girls a lot. Of course, Nana has made things so much easier by coming to the house and taking care of my little angels (she also does lots of things in the house that makes my job at home much easier). She makes our bed so good everyday (because most of the time I leave the girls in it when I leave for work), that Kyle tells her he feels like he is at a Motel when he comes to bed at night. Most IMPORTANTLY, Hannah Claire turned 4 months old yesterday, and I can't believe how big she is getting. We started rice cereal today, and she loves it! She tries her best to talk, and when you sing to her she tries her best to sing too. She is such a joy and a good baby! I thank God so much for my 2 sweet blessings! She goes to bed around 10:00 and awakes each morning about 6-6:30 (cereal sure helps). Believe me, I have been loving these full nights of rest, especially since I have started back to work. We venture to the doc. for 4 month shots next Friday and I am anxious to find out how much she weighs. I hope everyone is surviving the cold! We ventured out tonight because I just had a need to check out Dillards sidewalk sale (always love the shoe sale), and I just had to use my Gymbucks (Kyle says I treat a Gymbuck as if they were a block of gold)! He was a sport to set in the car (yes with the heat running and the burning gas that he reminds me of) and let me take my time. Hannah slept the entire hour and half I was in the mall. As long as she is happy and not crying Kyle is able to tolerate my shopping. However, as soon as the first fuss begins he is on the cell phone and my "ME" time is over! Hope everyone has been doing well and staying warm! Enjoy the photos.

She is so sweet, Staffanne. Mom kept Evan here when he was a newborn and it did make my job so much easier. She always did my laundry...I miss that! :-) Glad you're getting back into the swing of things!
Hannah is growing so much and is a cutie! It is so nice of your mom to come over so you don't have to get the girls out on these cold, cold mornings...and help with housework, that's always a plus!! :o)
I love Gymbucks too! :)
I can't believe how big Hannah is! What a pretty baby sge is! You Mom is fabulous!
Your girls have the sweetest smiles! I know it's hard having to go back to work, but at least you have the peace of mind that they're in good hands. Thank God for good grandparents. Sounds like you had some good "ME" time. Every Mom needs a little of that.
Your girls are beautiful! Kennedy still misses seeing your mom everday at Daycare. She is such a wonderful person. It's good to know she is enjoying her retirement and getting to spend time with her grandchildren. It really means a lot to have help with the kids and housework.
I'm laughing thinking about Kyle waiting in the car - we can relate. Eric would much rather wait in the car with the kids during my Target and Wal-Mart trips. I can't tell you how many times we've done this and I come out to find the boys watching a movie and Eric snoozing away!
Ok.....could you please have Kyle call JD and teach him this fabulous idea!!!! (Though I am not sure JD would so happily agree! I can't believe she is four months old either! Jaxen is 9 months old...and he still LOVES his cereal. He smacks his lips while I fix it every morning for him!
That is hilarious about Kyle sitting in the car. If I was in the mall and hour and a half, Bryan would be calling me too. Too funny. Hannah is a precious doll. Hallie is too. I can't believe her and Brooks are 4 months old already. Where has the time gone? Hope things at work go well. Wish I had someone to come to my house, that would be wonderful.
I try to tell Kerry that is just part of being the husband.. Sometimes he has to sit in the car with two rowdy boys while I enjoy my favorite past time shopping. Seems fair to me :) He doesn't quite see it that way but I am soooo telling him about how other husbands are more patient and do not start calling after 10 minutes. I haven't EVEN started my shopping in 10 minutes!!! Hannah is such a cute and Hallie of course is too!!
Thank goodness for the car DVD system is all I can say! Love your posts. You all are too cute. Come see us!
