Swing Set Fun!

This weekend has been absolutely beautiful and we have enjoyed every minute of it. On Friday the girls and I headed to Bowling Green early because I had a hair appt. (thanks so much to Aunt Stephanie for taking care of them while I got that done) and then we went to the mall to do some shopping. We stayed there for a couple of hours and then Hallie thought that it would be a great idea to go have a picnic. I told her that I didn't come prepared to go on a picnic, but she thought we could do it the way daddy does it and go to McDonalds and let them make the picnic food for us. Sounded like a plan to me, so off I headed to the drive thru at McDonalds to pick up our picnic food. We then headed to Three Springs Park where Hallie swung on the swings and Hannah just enjoyed being strolled around. Saturday morning I begin the morning by getting up early to get the house all cleaned up, laundry done, and half the ironing for the next week done. Then, we ventured to our sweet Maggie's 2nd B'day party were we had lots of good food and must I say GREAT Cake! We enjoyed spending time with our family so much! Then, after that we headed to the campground to spend some time with our great friends the Parsley's. We grilled out, the kids road their jeeps, and just enjoyed one another's company. With the exclusion of Kyle getting the end of his nose burnt by trying to blow out a marshmallow that was on fire, we had a wonderful time. Sunday we had a wonderful church service, headed to O'Charley's for lunch, and then hit the ole Wally World for groceries. After that we were all tuckered out and decided to spend the rest of the afternoon outside enjoying the end to our wonderful weekend. My parents had bought Hannah a baby swing to add to our swing set, so we got that put up and she LOVED It! She would just laugh out loud every time you would give her a little push! I know I have bragging rights because she is mine, but she is such a wonderful baby. I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend as much as we did ours. I wish we had just one more day, but it is back to work tomorrow. I feel so blessed to have such wonderful family and friends. I don't have any pictures of the picnic since it wasn't planned or camping, but I took some of the girls this afternoon.

I have to disagree with one of your captions. The one that says "This face is screaming I love to swing" - I think maybe it is screaming "I look like Kyle Cassady!" : )

Sweet pictures! Wish I could have heard Hannah laughing : )

It sounds like such a fun weekend. I'm sure Hallie enjoyed her picnic. We had our first picnic of the season Saturday too. I agree with Lesley, the picture of Hannah in the swing, she does look like Kyle. I had never noticed it until that picture. You have very pretty girls!

I was just about to comment and ask if I was the only one who looked at the picture of her in the swing and thought she looked sooo much like Kyle! Then, I read the other comments, so apparently I am not the only one who seen that.
Sounds like a great weekend.
