I know this post is a little late....but I still wanted to wish my sweet husband a "Happy Belated 33rd Birthday" on Jan. 7th, 2010. We both awoke early that morning to lots of phone calls from both of our businesses regarding the snow...yes I mean early...4:30 am. But, by 6:45 we were all fast asleep again and didn't wake again til around 9:00. We had a great day playing lots of games (and YES, Hallie wanted me to post that she is the "MEMORY GAME CHAMP" and no matter how hard Kyle and I tried, we still couldn't beat her), Hallie played out in the snow for about 20 minutes (that was all I could stand), had some homemade vegetable soup for lunch, and then topped off the afternoon with some homemade angel food cake topped with peaches for Daddy's birthday dessert. Since Kyle and I are both on diets, he didn't want to ruin it by eating some of our favorite, fattening desserts, so at his request and amazing willpower I made a lowfat cake. Kyle and I were going to venture out for dinner that night, but at his request we decided to spend the afternoon in with the girls. The last few days we have spent lots of great time together as a family, and we have really enjoyed each others company. However, after being in the house for the last 4 days, I couldn't take it anymore. So, today we decided to venture to Cracker Barrell for a birthday lunch celebration with my parents, to the mall for some shopping, and then to the dreaded Wal-Mart for groceries. It sure has been a GREAT Weekend and we really have enjoyed the beautiful snow, but I can say that I am ready for it to go away and come again another day. It looks like many of you have had some great fun over the last several days, and I have enjoyed reading about it! Hope you enjoy the photos and everyone has a wonderful week!

We too have loved the extended family time! I'm wishing Eric could be home with us again tomorrow but I guess somebody has to go to work around here!
The sticker face is sooo cute! I can just imagine Hallie playing school! Tell her that I miss her :)
You must ask your SIL Steph about her Route 44 drink last week! It involves her lap and a spill during the freezing cold!
