Happy Hunting.....

Kyle and Uncle Drew got their 1st turkeys of the season this weekend! Hallie was really excited for her daddy, and she thought these photos must go on the blog. Here is a little story I have to share, mainly because it is sooo funny. When Hallie seen the guys get their turkeys out of the truck and lay them down on the ground, she started jumping up and down and saying..."he caught it mom...he caught it...daddy really can run fast!" I started cracking up! What do you mean Hallie? "Well, mom when you go turkey hunting you have to run fast and catch them." I still continued to laugh, and she let me know real quick that it wasn't funny! I tried to explain to her that wasn't exactly how it worked, but I seemed to get no where! She said, "Mom, you have never been turkey hunting, so how do you know anything about it?" So, then I let her daddy explain, and he was able to ration with her and make her understand. Anyways, just thought I would share the beauty of a child's mind...I love it!
