Can you guys all remember when you went out on that first date with that special someone and something about it just made you feel that you would spend the rest of your life with that person? This weekend made my mind go back to several times in mine and Kyle's relationship in which I just knew that this guy would always be the love of my life, the father of my children, and most importantly my soul mate and best friend. Just to sum up in a few short terms, The weekend that my sweet husband planned for the two of us was just "Awesome, Romantic, and Fun." We headed down to Nashville on Friday morning in which we got to our condo and checked in and then headed to Opry Mills for some shopping. Kyle's mom was down in Nashville, so she kept Hannah for us and Aunt Catherine took Hallie for a GNO. They went and played archade games, ate at the Rain Forest Cafe, and then ate dessert at Auntie Anne's (Hallie's favorite). By the way, Aunt Catherine you are the Best! Kyle and I shopped, had supper at the Rain Forest Cafe (I love their Lava Nachos) and then we went to watch My Sister's Keeper. Oh my gosh, this is a must see, but take about two boxes of kleenex with you. Kyle and I both cried our eyes out (my sweet husband does have a soft heart, especially watching a movie about two sisters in which he can very much relate to). Even though the movie was very sad, and I cried so hard that at one time I thought I was going to have to get up and leave, we had a wonderful time! We talked about the girls a lot and how we loved being their mommy and daddy and how God has truly blessed our life. He is the one I give all the credit to for all of our blessings. I truly felt like I was falling in love with this guy all over again!

The next night Kyle had got tickets to the Grand Ole Opry for us to see Carrie Underwood and Clay Walker! Yay! I love Carrie Underwood, and yes, I confirmed my belief that she is just as beautiful in person as on T.V. We were about 6 rows from the stage, and it was a wonderful performance. We had dinner plans, but Hannah started running a fever, and I had to get in touch with Dr. Kries, so we had to put that on hold. No matter what, my kids always come first! However, after the show at 11:45 there is nothing like heading to McDonalds through the drive-thru for some $.25 chicken nuggets (my choice). Thanks so much to Dr. Kries for getting Hannah some medicine, and this morning she was feeling much better.

This morning we headed out early, stopped at the Cracker Barrell for a wonderful breakfast, and then headed back to Chalybeate to make it to church. After all, I had a wonderful time, and I am so grateful for my husband. Thankful, that he loves me enough to plan a special weekend getaway for us and always tries very had make me feel special. I don't see how I could love him anymore than I already do, but times like this seem to make our relationship grow stronger. Life gets so busy and often times there are mountains that we have to climb, but I truly believe that if a couple will stand together, faith believing in God, that every thing will work itself out. This Weekend wasn't necessarily special because of the places we went or the people we saw, but about the love we shared and the memories that we made. I love my dear husband and thanks be to God again for sending him to me.

WOW! Kyle scored some major brownie points this weekend! :-) Shaun took me to see Carrie Underwood at the Opry last month and we also had a great time! I loved this post, because it's so true. It's just like that song that Brad Paisley sings, I Thought I Loved You Then ( I cry every time I hear it). We've been with our guys a LONG time, but it just keeps getting better and hopefully always will! Glad you all had such a great weekend!

So glad you had a great weekend. Not every marriage out there has the true love that you are talking about. So glad you and Kyle had a great time. Your seats were awesome.

That was a sweet post. A good one to go back and reread the next time Kyle makes you mad : )

Eric never minds to watch the sappy movies with me either and I'm so glad because those are my favorite!
