How can it not be a "Terrific" Tuesday when you have this little face to wake up to every morning? I am sure you are wondering why I am so chummy about the days of the week this week? So, I will explain! On Sunday I was thinking about my upcoming work week, challenges as a mother that I am facing with Hannah having to have tests run on her heart this Thursday, and then about all my staff and clients at my center who I truly adore and spend a great amount of my day with. As my mind was reflecting on each of these things, I decided that I was going to challenge everyone to have a positive and uplifting week! Why? Because we need each other! Each day was going to have a motto, and by that, each day was going to have something that we focus on that is "Meaningful, Terrific, Wonderful, Thankful for, and Fantastic." Lets just see how positive attitudes, love for one another, and friendship can make our week go? No matter what the challenge may be, we are going to be positive and work together the best we can to solve any issue that comes our way. I am one that totally believes that attitudes are catching, and that they definitely determine altitude!
Since Thanksgiving is right around the bend, and I have so much to be thankful for, I are really trying to focus on the things in my life that have great meaning and purpose and to tell those who mean so much to me how much I value their love, friendship, companionship, etc. We are just 2 days into the week, and I can tell that my clients and staff are so positive and feel so good about what we are doing.
I know speaking for myself, I sometimes get so wrapped up in the hustle and bustle of everyday life, that I sometimes forget to tell those who mean so much to me how much I value them. With the holiday season quickly approaching, my mind and heart have just been focusing on what is important to me and trying to realize that all the "other" things are just secondary. I have gained so much strength and inspiration this week already, and I feel that our whole team is just like family. Not that it hasn't been like this before, but it just seems that there is a closeness there that is indescribeable. I really needed this in my life this week, and I am so glad that we are doing this challenge! God has a way of uplifting our spirits and desires...and I really feel that this idea wasn't revealed to me by chance, but for a reason! I needed those in my life who I care about to give me strength, encouragement, and prayers to face some challenges...isn't that what family, friends, coworkers, clients, and all the people in our life is needed for? My mother always told me that a friend in need is a friend indeed...and, that you have to be a friend to have a friend. So, today on this "Terrific" Tuesday, I want to tell all my friends who have been there for me, laughed with me, talked with me, sent me emails this week, facebooked me, come to work and visited me, "That you are "Terrific" and you mean so much to me!"

I'm loving these posts! I too, have been thinking more here lately about all of the wonderful blessings that God has granted me. Sometimes we tend to focus on the not-so-pleasant a little too much, and I'm trying to look at the truly special things in life. I do agree that attitudes are catching and I think this is just an awesome idea for you to do. Sweet little Hannah is in our thoughts and prayers. Love ya!
Loving your posts this week. I am planning to have a wonderful Wednesday today and hope you do the same. Can't wait for the next post!
What an inspiring post. Little Hannah is in my thoughts and prayers. It's so easy to lose perspective, thanks for reminding us of that.
Love the posts! You are absolutely right-we have so much to be thankful for!
