"Wonderful Wednesday"

Well, the week is continuing to go smooth and today has been a "Wonderful" Wednesday. Mainly, because I have refused to let it be any different! Today, was a reflection on things or events in our lives that have been absolutely "wonderful." So as I talked to my clients and staff this morning about several different events in our lives, my heart was overjoyed to hear so many of them speak about their salvation, when they got married, had their children, started coming to our day care program, etc. It is so amazing that when you reflect back on wonderful events in your life how elated you can become...as if you are experiencing the event all over again. I thought back on the birth of my "2" sweet girls and how wonderful it felt the very first time I laid my eyes on a precious baby that was mine...to take home...to love...to nurture....to raise in a home where God is #1...to teach new things to...to experience life with....and to share them with the love of my life. As I reflected back on both Hallie and Hannah's births, I couldn't help but smile thinking about how complete I felt the first time that I held them in my arms. It was a joy that I know I will never forget! Parenting is not always easy, but I can say that it is the most rewarding job I have ever held.
Well, tomorrow is another day, and I ask that everyone please say a prayer for us if it crosses your mind. As a mother who is a bornified worrier, I can say that I am nervous, scared, and anxious. My personality is to fix everything for everyone, and I hate not knowing the "unknown." However, as I finish this post and head to bed, I can definitely say that "I am thankful for a fine family, the little church that I attend, and all my Christian Friends....God has been so Good to me!"
