Fab "5" Friday

Okay sweet readers, I know I am a little late in the day with this post, but I am proud to say that after Hallie's graduation today, Me and my girls came home and took the World's Longest Nap. Well, it probably wasn't the world's longest, but it sure felt like it to me. I can't tell you how long it has been since I had such a wonderful nap! We all piled in the bed together and slept for 3 1/2 hours! So, I am just now putting together my posts for the day. Here goes my Fab "5".

Fruit Salad...Yummy...Yummy! I make this stuff almost every other week, and everyone around my house loves it. It is a great way to get your kids to eat fruit. It was my grandmother's recipe, and my mom always made it when I was a kid growing up, and now I am making it for my family too! It is the easiest recipe, and it is a guaranteed hit! My Shark Steam Mop! I heart this cleaning product so much! I use it to clean my hardwood and tile which makes up 95% of all the floors in my home. It has a flip top head, and it is easy to fit in corners, on steps, and can go pretty much any where you want it to. It comes with washable pads for different types of surfaces. I bought mine at Kohl's because I got a 30% off and it was the cheapest place in town to buy it. Even checked on Ebay, and Kohl's beat them all! I love it even more, because Kyle thinks it is really neat too, and he loves to clean the floors. This is probably my biggest plus about this product!

Gifts from my favorite gift shop in town...Heartstrings! I have received some precious gifts from Heartstrings in the last few months for Professionals Day and other events from sweet coworkers and friends. I don't hardly ever shop in there for myself, but love buying gifts for others there so much. Don't they just have the cutest, most thoughtful items. So, when it is my birthday or a special event, I get all excited when I see pretty wrapping with precious bows and a sticker that reads Heartstrings. My friend Lisa, the manager there, knows when Kyle comes shopping in there just what I like, and she fixes him up with the sweetest gifts for me. I really love her! Most of the time I am next door shopping at Chatters for my girls. Here is a photo of my recent plates and my precious photo frame! I LOVE the Happy Everything plate and it comes with different accessories for holidays, etc that you can stick at the top. The UK plate was perfect in the winter when we had friends over to watch the game and have some snacks. And, the picture frame was loved..loved by me! It sets on my nightstand where you see it setting in the pic, and I look at it every night before I go to bed and every morning when I wake up. It makes me think of 2 things...How blessed I am to have a great family, and my sweet friend Amy who gave it to me.

OKal SHOES! I love these so much. They are so comfortable and you can wear them casual or dressy. My mom has bought me several pair, and she always knows they are at the top of my list for any birthday, Christmas, etc.

My Pandora Bracelet that my sweet husband gave me for Easter or for "Just Because" he says! I adore it! He bought me the heart charm and the chick charm, and the other precious pearl charm was given by a friend. This is something that is very sentimental to me, and I hold dear to my heart any jewelry he has ever given me!
